About the event

In celebration of the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse, join the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) – Texas Regional Office (TXRO) in collaboration with the Texas Intellectual Property Alliance (TXIPA) for a viewing event on Monday, April 8, at Polsinelli in Dallas, TX. Option to join the panel discussion virtually available through registration.

The event will include an engaging panel discussion on developing green energy sources, particularly solar energy, using game-changing technologies or methods to address climate change.

Panelists include:

  • Aaron Wilson, CEO of Solar One

  • Anna Clark, Vice President & Sustainability Practice Leader, Cooksey Communications

  • Dr. Eva Szalkai Csaky, Executive Director of the Hunt Institute

Moderator: Hope Shimabuku Regional Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s Texas Regional Office

Following the panel discussion, step out onto Polsinelli’s terrace with a complimentary pair of eclipse glasses to view the total eclipse from 1:41-1:45pm. Due to expected increases in traffic, please plan to arrive 15 minutes early. Lunch will be served at 12pm. Scheduled programming will extend from 12-1:15pm to provide ample time to view the eclipse.
